Dr. Teresa Martin DMD
Being a dentist for more than 32 years has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, I am deeply grateful to God for placing remarkable mentors, colleagues, and patients in my path who have helped shape both my heart for this profession and the way we care for people. To me, dentistry is about much more than teeth—it’s about relationships, trust, and creating an environment where patients feel genuinely cared for and safe. My goal at Scioto Smiles is to lead a team of outstanding caregivers who make every patient feel comfortable, valued, and confident in their smile. I love creating a place where both our team and our patients can truly enjoy the experience of dentistry together. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about continually learning and growing so that our patients receive the highest level of care modern dentistry can provide. One quote that has always inspired me comes from Abraham Lincoln: “Whatever you are, be a good one.” I have embraced that challenge personally and am committed to supporting our team with the education, encouragement, and environment they need to pursue excellence in caring for our patients. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy following Jesus Christ, spending time at our cabin in the woods, riding ATVs, and cheering on my husband as he races his legend car on the dirt track. I am also incredibly proud of the three adult children I have raised – Baylee Joy, Jonah, and Chloe. I love visiting Disney and playing card games with family and friends whenever I get the chance. I look forward to meeting you and helping create a great dental experience for you and your family.
